Rhys Leonard, a fan of the show who is 11 years old, visited the Plaza on Wednesday. Rhys put together a short video of his experience and posted it to YouTube.

Leonard wrote to allDAY:

I arrived at the Plaza at 7:30 AM sharp and was immediately surrounded by tons of people. I found a decent spot and started recording video. I was very close to the whole crew. Bon Jovi rocked!

TODAY helped People magazine celebrate its 35th anniversary by re-creating the show’s set from 1974, and all four anchors got into the groove by donning '70s polyester and shaggy hairdos (check out those 'staches!). Ann Curry sits down with Iranian President

In an exclusive interview, Ann Curry will sit down with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his first interview since the elections and unrest in Iran.

The interview will take place in Tehran, and will air this Thursday, September 17th on TODAY and “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams."

Ann was also in Iran earlier in the year. Her reporting aired as a Dateline special in June called, "Inside Iran."

Matt, Meredith, Ann and Al bust a move on 'Soul Train'

Love, peace and SOUL … on TODAY?

Complete with hot pants, bell-bottoms and perfectly coiffed Afros, Matt, Meredith, Ann and Al brought out their inner disco divas this morning when they worked the dance floor of the “Soul Train” line.

“I’ve been known … to bust a move or two,” Meredith said.

No, they weren’t re-living the glory days of ‘70s, and the TODAY set wasn’t transformed into a dance club.

The TODAY hosts’ faces were digitally inserted into old footage from the funky classic TV dance show, “Soul Train,” courtesy of the Web site JibJab.com.

“Al and Ann I think look phenomenal, I look ridiculous,” Meredith laughed.

Meanwhile, Al was reminded that he once rocked big ‘70s hair.

TODAY anchors reveal their role models...

It's important to have role models in life. Growing up, I always looked up to my dad. Well, my dad and Kirby Puckett. He was the epitome of a baseball player -- athletic, smart. He was not only a leader in the clubhouse, but in the community as well. The same can be said about my dad. Except for maybe that whole athletic thing (sorry dad). But he served as the perfect example when it came to a work ethic that I still strive to duplicate.

Everyone has these mentors in their life, including our anchors here at TODAY. So, I decided to ask the TODAY family in this week's Getting to Know TODAY: Who's your role model? Some of their answers may surprise you...

Everyone has ‘those weaknesses” in their lives. For some, it's a bad reality show. For others, maybe it's cheesecake. Whether your guilty pleasure involves eating a loaded baked potato or playing the part of a couch potato, sometimes in life you just have to indulge!
