Yesterday, People magazine unveiled a photo spread that shows TODAY hosts Matt, Meredith, Ann and Al rocking funky '70s style. The mustachioed Matt bears a striking resemblance to another anchor who’s “kind of a big deal”: Ron Burgundy, the fictional reporter played by Will Ferrell in the comedy film “Anchorman: The legend of Ron Burgundy.”

“I’ve heard everywhere from Ron Burgundy to a porn star, so … I’ll take Ron Burgundy,” Matt laughed. Natalie quipped that they looked like they were “separated at birth.”

Growing up, I always looked up to my dad. Well, my dad and Kirby Puckett. He was the epitome of a baseball player -- athletic, smart. He was not only a leader in the clubhouse, but in the community as well. The same can be said about my dad. Except for maybe that whole athletic thing (sorry dad). But he served as the perfect example when it came to a work ethic that I still strive to duplicate.
