I think that it is really nice that the today show thinks of Lenny in the way that they do. I don't know many people who could be there for 13yrs through all kinds of weather unless he's a mailman what a devoted fan.

I think it's great that the staff and the hosts take time to acknowledge Lenny. You just don't find a fan that devoted everyday. He is an asset to the Today Show. Many of us look for him everyday in the crowd and we feel good when we do see him. Make sure you take the time to give Lenny some much deserved pampering.

Kudos for recognizing Lenny as much as you all do. To wake up and see Lenny every morning is as much of the "today" experience as Matt, Al, Meridth, Ann, and the rest of the gang. He deffinately goes with "today" as much as cream with coffee. :)

Thank you, thank you. You have answered some my questions about Lenny. Why is he there and where does he go afterward. I also looked for him and I don't think I have ever seen him smile. I use to think it was because it was either too cold or too hot. On those cold morning, I certainly hope that the Today Show at least give him something HOT to drink. After 13 years he deserve it. I just recently returned home from a trip to NYC where I visited the Today Show for the first time. Being a long time viewer it was very fun, and I got to stand beside Lenny which was my favorite part. He was so friendly and answered questions I had about the taping. It was so nice that every person on the show came and acknowledged him.
