Good to read your blog (finally).  Been following Today show since the Gumble/Pauley era.
While many parts of the county (Canada and US) were still pondering when spring will finally kick in, here in Yellowknife, the capital of Northwest Territories, in Canada the first snow we get as early as late October will surely stay until April (if we are lucky) barring a heat wave of biblical proportion.
