The parade of Friday Night Lights stars to come through the allDAY offices continued today when Gaius Charles stopped by before his interview with Ann and Natalie. So much is subtle, passing in an instant, a glance, a tightened smile. It follows the stuggles of small town, hardscrabble life, with all of its ups and downs and courageous story lines treating race, disabilities, religion, immigration, crime, class and gender, yet never done in an artificial, preachy way. It all just rings true. If you love football, you will love it. If you could not care less about football, the story lines and characters will win you over.

I was hooked from the first episode. Please give this show more coverage in the hopes of winning the audience it deserves. There are so many more cast members whom it would be great to interview, so many story lines worth discussing.

He's Not 'Smash' Williams, He Just Plays Him on TV

I had no interest in this show when it first premiered but thanks to a certain blogger in Canada, I started watching this season and have been blown away! It's an awesome show and I'll definitely rent or buy the first season so that I can get the full story.

He's Not 'Smash' Williams, He Just Plays Him on TV

H. The movie, actually, did the book proud! But the series has set the Friday Night Lights bar. A great reason to stay 'in' on a Friday night!
