So glad to see this interview and to get to know this actor a bit. The show is terrific--complicated characters, complex story lines that are still credible, great ensemble cast, superb acting, excellent writing, filming and editing. Nothing is overacted or over dramatized. So much is subtle, passing in an instant, a glance, a tightened smile. It follows the stuggles of small town, hardscrabble life, with all of its ups and downs and courageous story lines treating race, disabilities, religion, immigration, crime, class and gender, yet never done in an artificial, preachy way. It all just rings true. If you love football, you will love it. If you could not care less about football, the story lines and characters will win you over.

I was hooked from the first episode. Please give this show more coverage in the hopes of winning the audience it deserves. There are so many more cast members whom it would be great to interview, so many story lines worth discussing.

I had no interest in this show when it first premiered but thanks to a certain blogger in Canada, I started watching this season and have been blown away! It's an awesome show and I'll definitely rent or buy the first season so that I can get the full story.

Thanks for posting this interview on your website. I missed it on the Today Show. I hope you have more of the actors on the show. We love this show Friday Night Lights. More people should be watching it because it is a wonderful family show. It is very real, with very real teen problems and issues. Go Smash, we are pulling for you and the Panthers!!!

Please do interview more of the actors on the Today show. We absolutely LOVE this show. Maybe more exposure is will help it stay on the air.

The book was fabulous. The movie, actually, did the book proud! But the series has set the Friday Night Lights bar. A great reason to stay 'in' on a Friday night!
