That day in late September will be very memorable. This tour will probably be the last time the E-Street Band will do anything together due to their age. In 50 years, when the band (and us) are all gone, Bruce and his band will be remembered as one of Americas greatest musical acts.
So if you are lucky enough to get to the plaza, enjoy it and don't take it for granted. If you have never witnessed a Springsteen show, (I've seen four) this would be a worth while occasion. You will never forget it. He's the greatest Rock and Roll performer ever. This tour is our last chance to see an artist as remarkable as the the Boss. He is the last great icon of Rock and Roll.

I knew as soon as I heard the teaser that it ws Bruce! It was great to see him interviewed by Matt Lauer durning the last tour (who obviously is a fan as well!). Fifteen years ago this week, I stood in line waiting at the Spectrum in Philly for tickets to see my hero for the first time. The Boss was never better than at Jazz Fest 06 singing City of Ruin to the locals in attendance. While I too normally prefer to see him with the E Street Band, this was a moment to remember in New Orleans so early post-Katrina. I have been a Springsteen fan for close to 30 years.
I have been lucky enough to see him perform three times. The greatest though was Labor Day weekend 2001. My teenage son and I were unable to get tickets to see Clarence at the Stone Pony, so we were outside in our rented Mustang listening instead. My son saw a man in a bomber jacket and ball cap enter the Stone Pony, he said it looked like Bruce.(Yeah right!) The next moment they announced that Bruce was there to play. We were out of the car standing on concrete piers, with the ocean behind us listening to "the Boss" sing Mustang Sally. My son and I will be at Mellon Arena on November 14 in Pittsburgh, PA. Life is good!!!!!!!

On April 12, 1976, my 18th birthday, I was dragged to see a concert at a small arena in Johnstown, PA by well meaning friends. That night became one of life's pivotal moments for me. The Born to Run tour. My now 18 year old son also shares my love for the words and music. One of my favorite memories in life is my son rolling down the car window and singing "Just roll down the window and let the wind blow back your hair". Bruce was the first concert I took him to at the MCI Center in DC in 1998. And, we will see be in DC later this year to do it again.

Not one day goes by that I don't listen to Bruce at some point during my day. For those of you who have never seen him in concert, don't knock it until you have tried it. I have watched him evolved as an artist for 30 years and he gets better and better and is always full of surprises. No one puts more love and energy into their music, their shows,their lyrics, their band,than Bruce. I thank him for sharing his gift with all of us who truly appreciate him as an artist and all around good, good man. Thanks for all the great times Bruce, every show I have seen is more memorable than the last. I will see you in cleveland and Pittsburgh for sure and who knows where else to experience the Magic!
And as a note to Matt, what a way to wake up on Septmeber 28th morning, to Matt Lauer and Bruce Springsteen. For me,it doesn't get any better than that! Thank you Bruce, Thank you today show!

I absolutely love and adore Bruce. I've seen him countless times and have never been to a better concert. He just seems to never quit. I have always thought that movies could be made based on the themes of Born to Run, Thunder Road, Rosalita, etc. His lyrics are so true. I can't wait to see him on the Today Show Sept. 28. I'm taking the day off. It's a holiday as far as I'm concerned.

I remember seeing Bruce when he came to Cincinnati back in 1978. My twin sister and I waited three weeks to get tickets and still ended up in the fifth row. I wish it was that easy now. We've seen him 10 times over the years and it got harder and harder to get a decent seat. Bruce and his band give the greatest concerts ever. I've never seen a bad show. Now my 16 year old daughter is into Bruce. We watched an early concert from the 70's and she absolutely loved. She has downloaded many Springsteen songs on her ipod.

You only live once. If you haven't seen Bruce live in concert, you need to put that on your list of things to do before you die.

Well I just watched the Today show and was not impressed, Radio Nowhere sounds like an outtake from the River sessions. Of course Bruce had to be political before singing Living in the Future, he can't help himself these days I suppose, but I'd like to ask the fans who praise him one question: Are you even remotely aware of what Socialism would do the US? I don't think you do, if you did you wouldn't be buying his new (or any) of his CDs and cheering Bruce on. Bruce must also be in the dark because he must not realize that his music would not have made him millions if it weren't for a thing called CAPITALISM. So why on earth would a man born and raised on free market Capitalism ask his fans to vote for socialist democrats? What he's saying is that it's okay for him to benefit from Capitalism but the rest of us poor slobs need to be cared for by big government. Well I'm not buying that and if you had any sense at all you would give the boss a pink slip. But hey, if you want your lives controlled by a socialist government then you will get what you deserve in 2008.

I just went to the concert tonight and ended up leaving early because it was so unbelievably and unnecessarily beyond loud, that it was not enjoyable. It was difficult to understand the words unless you knew them all, and the whining, screaming high pitches of the electric guitars and sax ruined some songs. Bruce is great, but, why in 2007 does the band think we need to hear it so ungodly loud? I would have loved this concert at one tenth the decible.
