He was charming and gracious and even arrived early. He arrived with no security guards or assistants in tow. You and your family are amazing role models and a super addition to the Today Show team. As a single mom, breast cancer survivor, I salute your whole family. You have a great laugh, smile and life force. Thanks for starting our morning "Today" with your joy-filled energy! I know you will bring a fresh perpective to your stories or your mom will call you and let you know. Good luck on this new path! We are all still your fans and we are still cheering for you! My brother Richard befriended him when he was a rookie running back and volunteered to come talk to some kids in the Hudson,NY area for the D.A.R.E. program many years ago. During Giants Training Camp in Albany, we would often be privelidged to meet and talk with him after practice. Tiki is a class act. He has been blessed with the ability to relate to all kinds of people. He finds that common place, and immediately puts one at ease, and instead of that superstar running back standing in front of you, you meet this wonderfully humble ,intresting, intelligent, positive force of a man named Tiki. Now we will all be blessed with his presence on the Today Show. I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to watching him and learning from him. You can bet I won't miss a story. This man is the single most impressive individual I have ever met. Continued success Tiki! Congratulations and love sent to you and your family. And just for the record, I am sure we can get Richard to do another clam bake, just say the word! Proud to say I have met you. Best wishes in this new endeavor.

It would make my mother's day if you would look into a disease called Loupus for me. My daughter passed from it just recently at 39yrs old leaving behind a young son and family. The doctors hardly know anything about it. It is very strange and I would love to speak to someone about my experience if you are interested in looking into this.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and good luck with the show!

Tiki Barber: A regular guy who just happens to be an ex-NFL superstar

I am thrilled to hear that Tiki will be focused on upbeat stories, ones that motivate etc. My son Greg is a HUGE football fan, lives in NYC now. I wonder how many broadcast/journalist majors in colleges across the USA feel about wasting their time and money to get these degrees only to see some retired athlete be handed a job.

Tiki Barber: A regular guy who just happens to be an ex-NFL superstar

It's nice to see that Tiki Barber is so devoted to his family. His demeanor is one of great integrity. We need more role models in the media who are genuinely interested in inspirational stories and don't rely on inappropriate material to fill air time. At a time when kids sorely need positive role models, Tiki arrives modeling unassuming self-respect. His whole family must be proud of him, especially his mother.

Tiki Barber: A regular guy who just happens to be an ex-NFL superstar

Those who have a problem with broadcasting jobs being "handed" to retired athletes, I agree to a certain extent.
