I just wanted to comment on the pairing of Hoda and Kathie Lee. They make it worth the wait for the fourth hour, to see what they'll be up to that day. The rapore between the two of them is wonderful, and you get a sense there is a genuine friendship between the two of them. I know Kathie Lee has her share of critics, but it was an excellent move on NBC's part to bring her back as one of the cohosts. Kathie Lee and Hoda bring new life to the Today Show, and especially its fourth hour. Now, if only Kathie Lee would've put that rude chef really in his place, I wanted her to really dress him down. I could've cared less what he was making, I just wanted his segment to be over. Hope to see the pairing of Kathie Lee and Hoda for a long time to come!

Dear Brian~
OMG! I feel as though I've been under a rock for the last 19(?) years... I knew that you were working for NBC and the TODAY Show, but I had NO IDEA what a very important and talented person you'd turned out to be! I am so excited for you and your career path. I am super jealous that you got to meet Kermit and Miss Piggy today! I was squealing to my 4-year old, "Oh! That's my friend, Brian! Look who he's sitting next to!" (Sadly, he is not of the Muppet Show generation...)
It sounds as though you've met lots of famous and fabulous people in the past few years (Thanksgiving with Joan Rivers?!? How cool is that?!?). But, in all honesty, if I had to choose one person from childhood or High School who I thought would be chatting with celebrities some day, the answer would- hands down- be YOU! :)
Congratulations on your new job with HGTV~ can you say what the job is or on what show you'll be working? I am sad that I did not get a chance to see all of your funny "on-screen" moments with Kathie Lee and Hoda while you were producer (although I've been searching the archives...). I hope to follow your career more closely in the future. Best of luck to you as you continue to do what you love and what you do best!

PS~ As I'm writing this, my son walks in, and I show him the pic of you from this morning... He says, "Hey that's your friend with the piggy and that grasshopper!" (I'll be signing out the Muppet Show DVD collection from the Library the next time we go...)

What a great show! I am a teacher and will sure miss it when school starts, (Is that what TIVO is for...not a clue!!) but I am flying to NY tomorrow for a long week-end, and I plan to spend my mornings at the Plaza! (Louis...Jill...will you pick me?!!!) Hoda and Kathie Lee are a great team and make you feel like you could just go out for lunch with them, continue where the show left off, and have a blast!

I liked the hairdo but could see her mom's point, too. I wanted to let someone at NBC know how much I like Hoda "Lee" and Kathie Lee. They are fun and pleasant, very enjoyable to watch and to listen to. I really dislike The View and am so glad I can watch Hoda and Kathie now. Thank you for bringing them to us.

We started watching NBC Monday quite by accident, having given up on Today a long time ago. What a pleasant surprise! Kathie Lee and Hoda! Who do we thank for getting them to do it? And it happened clear back in April? I guess i should change channels now and then from HGTV, TLC, Travel, and Perry Mason reruns. That fourth hour is so great! I still don't watch the early stuff--pretty boring, I think. Sorry, but it is. So keep the two women going and keep them happy on that fourth hour. We now can switch from Channel 2's Helen and Dave in Portland, OR, to the fourth hour of NBC's Today, followed by Regis and Kelli. Housework can wait. We get the news from the Internet, so entertainment on TV is what we want and expect.

You've created an absolutely wonderful show. I love Hoda and Kathie Lee; it is such fun to watch their interaction. How did you ever figure out that the two would work so well? Can't praise this hour enough. Ladies, you make my day.
