After Matt's interview with Tina Fey at 8:19 this morning (WATCH VIDEO), I sat down with her for a Q&A session in her dressing room.
Fey (pictured left at the 59th Annual Writers Guild Awards) discussed a variety of topics, from her show, "30 Rock,"

Live From Studio 1A: Tina Fey Q & A

As a fellow UVA Alum....I couldn't be happier for Tina Fey and all her well-deserved success. Cahouet

"30 Rock" is the best and the funniest show on television, bar none, with "Friday Night Lights" in second place. In "30 Rock," Tina Fey taps into the neurotic melancholy of so many intelligent and sensitive people, and we follow her stream of consciousness with constant shocks of recognition. The comedy is all over the map, and that's the joy of it: From one nanosecond to the next, we don't know what wackiness we're about to witness. Alec Baldwin is pure genius -- selfish and generous, kind and cruel, crazy and sane -- and he often communicates all this with just a facial expression. An hour at 30 Rock is the best therapy around.

Live From Studio 1A: Tina Fey Q & A

I just hope that NBC is smart enough to renew "30 Rock". Great sly political and social humor.
It is so fast paced that the half hour is over almost before I know it. Also, she doesn't hog the spotlight - the whole cast is featured and developed - I guess she learned alot from the SNL gang.

Live From Studio 1A: Tina Fey Q & A

30 Rock was renewed on Wednesday, folks.

I am a stay at home dad, so I definitely agree that men need to take a greater role in the raising of their kids. I also agree, that in many instances having both parents work is actually counter-productive. For us, it was simply a choice made when we first realized Peggy was pregnant with our son Liberty 16 years ago. Loss of one wage in return for time with our kids. We have never regretted it, even during the years I worked as a Social Worker averaging 20,000 a year. Now that I am the stay at home parent, I completely understand why many moms give up their jobs to be at home. I could not enjoy raising my two teenagers more, it is a blast.
