I was a victim...first w/the international money orders. This same person sent packages to my home as well...but I decided to call the company from where the package came ..well...I begged the sales person to check the Credit Card w/the bank it originated from...Ah yes..just as I thought...Identity theft..Poor woman "lost" her card...and merchandise was sent all of the US to be Sent to Nigeria. I called this person bluff to the point a Nigerian Student came on the cam...and was crying ...because he claimed he was forced to do the deed...to help his sick mom. ooooooooKay....Well...it ended for me...but not w/a bang...just to prove my thought to be more real...I gave this person a number alright..of a closed account...to my not so surprised eyes...I received a cancellation letter from Heartland Catalog...yeah..my Card was closed..hmmmm. I called Heartland and told them what was up. They were fine and understood. Lucky for this company...they don't ship until the account clears. Identity theft is everywhere..unfortunately we have become almost a paperless society. I hope you get these thiefs nailed...If I could help ...I will...I helped on individual online after I was snookered...he was almost out of 10,0000.000....I was taken for 3,000...but I learned my lesson...and I know exactly how to keep these folks online...just not sure how to catch them.
