From babies to cartoon characters, the dreaded self-portrait has prompted many to go to creative and elaborate lengths in order to avoid putting an actual photo of themselves on the internet.

Having said that, a free and fabulous idea caught my eye while going through some pitches today. While cosmetic counters have always offered us a fresh face for a special occasion, they are now offering a makeover that will last long after the makeup has washed away!

Select Estee Lauder counters across the country are giving free makeovers along with custom digital photos which they'll help you post online. Now you can get all glammed up and have someone (actually everyone) to show! So for everyone who has ever spent hours scanning picture folders looking for something to post, this seems like a great opportunity to put your best face forward! So say “cheese” and post your pretty pics below!
