hello today show i know were that building matt showed on sept. 11 its on 16 street northwest washington d.c. two blocks down from the intersection of 16th and u street. im not sure the address but its on the left side and on the corner at a begining of the block and an apartment is next door i took piano lessons across from that building for a year . i always thought it was a jewish temple, because there is no sign telling you what it is. thank you linda dowell

The location is the Masonic Lodge in Alexandria VA

It is the House of the Temple, Headquarters of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, USA.  It is located at 1733 16th NW. The former Confederate whose remains are in the building is Albert Pike.  It looks like a beautiful building--I would like to tour it on my next trip to DC.
