Matt? Meredith? Kathie Lee? Who would you ask to babysit?

Summer officially begins on Sunday, and with the weather warming up and vacation on everyone's mind, some parents may be gearing up for a little getaway. But what does that mean for your kids?  It's never an easy task to leave your little ones with just anyone ... even a TODAY Show anchor.

Inspired by the success of the recently published "TODAY'S Moms" book, we decided to go straight to our TODAY show moms and dads (here's lookin' at you, Al) to see who among our TODAY family would be recruited for babysitting duties.

In this week's "Getting to Know TODAY," we ask the TODAY family: If you had to trust your kids with another TODAY anchor to babysit, who would you choose and why?

Be sure to post your babysitter choice below -- would you place Matt on diaper duty? Do you really think Kathie Lee would get the kids to bed on time? Don't forget to add your ideas for future "Getting to Know TODAY" questions as well. Hopefully we'll pick yours.

As always, check the allDAY blog every Tuesday to learn the latest answers to all your burning questions about the TODAY family!

Ann, because she is so sweet, soft-spoken and empathetic.  Then, I would choose Al, because he would have fun with them.
Can they all babysit? I would love that!  Group play date!
AMY 4 sure - Seems to be the right age and has the friendliest vibe and already has young kids.  She ROCKS!
I don't have any kids, but Lester can take me to the park and buy me an ice cream. Seriously, I do see Lester as a big brother, so I think he would make a great babysitter. He has two sons, so I'm sure he's changed a few diapers in his life. He would probably make the babyfood from scratch, cook a pot roast for dinner,(without using a crock pot),etc. Lester would probably make a great secretary too.

I would hire him in a minute!

Amy and Lester know how to keep things appropriately kid friendly and interesting. They would be trustworthy babysitters.
Ann would be the most fun. Babysitters or parents, check this out, especially if you are worried about H1N1. I tried this great program with my kids called Germy Wormy Germ Smart. It helped even my 3 year old understand how germs spread and how to NOT spread germs. It was so much fun, and it was amazing how quickly they learned healthier hygiene habits!

I chose Meredith immediately.  She seems the most like me, and very empathetic.  Why is no one else choosing her?
I WOULD LET MEREDITH, MATT, AND/OR ANN BABYSIT, WHILE I GO ON A NYC FOOD TOUR WITH AL.NEXT TO WEATHER, AL'S FOOD CRITIQUE SKILLS ARE SUPERIOR.
I wouldn't be afraid to have any of them watch my son, but if I had to pick one, I would pick Kathie Lee. She and I seem to have similar opinions when it comes to raising a child and I know that she would be lots of fun!
Ann is the patient one of the bunch and would be my choice to babysit my children.
I'd choose Hoda to watch my kids. She is calm, sensible, and ever soooo sweet! Love her!
