NOAH WILEY......w/ a crewcut
I think Matt Lauer should be played by Kevin Costner.  They have similar smiles, eyes, hair and demeanor - they both are golfers and sports fans and I think Kevin would do a good job pulling off Matt's wry sense of humor.
GEORGE CLOONEY!!
Clive Owen!
Josh Brolin minus facial hair
With a great makeup and costume crew, no one could play him better than Meredith!  Great segment idea!  Can't wait to see more!
I thought it was already decided, Abe Vigoda!
Andy Samberg!! with the right wig, I think he'd be PERFECT!
funny that they actually came to some consensus.
Ben Affleck!
Noah Wylie==the minute you said that--he is the person who came to mind
Dan Futterman! He did a great job in A Mighty Heart.
It is pretty obvious that the role should be played by none other than Tom Cruise...Who better to capture Matt's "glibness"!  (OK, so I actually love Tom Cruise but think this would be a hoot!)
Tom Cruise
Robert Downey Jr
Adam Sandler
Josh Groban
Maybe Jason Lee, minus the Earl mustache
Tom Cruise, I totally agree with Hoda
The ultimate irony -- how about Tom Cruise?  Or,would that be so glib.
James Bond -  Pierce Brosnan or Hugh Jackman (because we know that Matt can belt out a tune!)
A slightly balding James Franco in 10 years... and YES that is a compliment.  I love you Matt Lauer.
Why in the world would Matt Lauer be in a movie???

If he were, he should play himself.
kevin spacey
Either Ben Affleck or Kevin Bacon
pee wee herman
I think Adam Sandler would play an awesome Matt Lauer.
Jon Hamm. He's got Matt's same je ne sais quoi. But if Jon's not available, Costner would do juuuust fine.
Kevin Costner was the first to come to mind.
Why would anyone other than him play him!! No one else could!!
Matthew Fox from Lost.
Adam Sandler- matt and him have a striking similarity
I think Froto of the lord of the rings. he has the drive and determination that i see in matt
and I dont love Cruise, but that one would be glibb!!!!
Noah Wyle for sure !
Tom Cruise is WAAAYYYY too glib.
Love you Matt !
Noah Wiley!!!
Katie Couric
Seriously, Tom Cruise
I'm thinking ... Danny Devito
Actually, Noah Wiley is a great choice!
It's a lock: Jamie Farr. (Klinger from M*A*S*H*)
I can't remember his name, but the guy who played spiderman 'I think his name is Toby something' would make a good Matt.. if you cut his hair real short.
Definitely sandler
jimmy fallon
Steve Carell
Bea Arthur.
I agree with the idea of Noah Wylie.
Chris Evans... I didnt like his acting a few years ago, but he's coming along.  He would be a good young Matty.
has to be noah wylie!
Tom Cruise
