on thursdays show you spoke of sleeping in the nude and do i hsve a story for you. my wife sleeps in the nude and we have a small minpin dog that sleeps in the house.well one nite the wife awoke to the dog barking it's head off standing at the foot of the bed looking toward the bathroom.well it turns out that the bathroom was on fire. so the wife jumps up, runs to the bathroom,grabs a mop wets it and commences to fight the fire and put it out.she is later talking with her doctor and discovers that if she had worn pj,s she would likley have been burned by the cloth,s catching on fire during the fire,so thanks to the hero dog and the nude wife i still have both of them and as a bonus i still have a house,it pays to sleep necked.

I am an image and protocol consultant and want to weigh in on the bare arms issue.  Mrs. Obama has fabulous arms and deserves to show them off, However, bare arms are not a professional look.  They are more appropriate for social affairs, eg the ball gown and luncheon ensembles. For an auspicious occasion such as the State of the Union, I think a more business like outfit would have generated less comment.

It was a disgraceful lack of taste.  For someone who is suppose to have style and class Michelle showed that she has neither. I agree with the Professor.  That was not the setting to wear a sleeveless dress but it seems all class and reverence for the office is gone!

Hoda, your mother promissed us that next time you visit Virginia she will bring you to meet us at her favorite Department store at Pentagon City Fashion Mall. You know she loves shoes like  you... KLG and Hoda--love your show and glad that you post it on your website as many days I am not able to watch your show live.  I love fashion and your comments regarding Michelle Obama.  I agree that she looks good in her sleeveless, but she has no clue as to what fashion is appropriate for the occasion.

Oh my god, are you people out of your minds.  She is the First Lady and what ever she has on is fine.  We need to be more concerned with what is happening in this country, not that the First Lady had on a sleeveless dress.  We should stop and think before we speek.  Somethings just do not have to be said.

Mrs. Obama was not the only first lady to wear sleeveless to serious occassions.  Jackie Kennedy also wore sleeveless for her official photo and for a State of the Union address.
