Brian Williams and Matt Lauer: 'It's Raining Men'

When Brian Williams filled in for Meredith Vieira this morning, Al Roker suggested a new theme song for the dynamic duo of Williams and Lauer..."It's Raining Men."  Added Roker: "It's a Whitman's sampler of man candy right there."

Here are some laughs and lighter moments with Brian from this morning's show:

Brian Williams is hysterical.  He and Matt are so fun together.  It was great to see the lighter side of Brian since he has to be so serious in his "real" job.  You should have him on more often.
Brian Williams is a hoot!
Watched the show this morning and it was such a great pleasure to see Brian Williams as co-host.  It was nice to see him in a less serious fashion than on the nightly news.  We watch him every night because he is one of the best on TV but this morning was so much fun to watch him joking and laughing, a little less serious.  Hopefully he will do it again.

As if Friday isn't the best work day of the week, I got to start it off with Matt, Brian, David AND Dan Abrahams! Today Show, you ROCK!!!!
Don't worry Mer, you still brighten up my mornings too :)
Matt and Brian are cracking me up this morning, can't tell you the number of *spit takes* I've had with my morning coffee!
They are like the Cheech and Chong of morning television.
Great chemistry -- perfect for a Friday morning! Thanks Brian for filling in, though Al, if you HAD been there, it could have been a reverse oreo cookie instead of just man candy! :-)
The last segment with Al Roker and Paula Deen was hilarious. I needed a laugh for today, so thank you Al & Paula. I think times are so depressing that it is good to lighten up and bring some laughter to your viewers day. I also enjoyed the humor of Matt and Brian this morning as well.
I LOVED it!!! Brian is so much fun!! He should be all time fill in anchor!!!
Thanks for the laughs this morning. What a way to start the day! Brian should co-host more often. He and Matt should have their own show.
Absolutely sooooo!!! These guys need to be on SNL!! OMG!!! Too funny! Brian must be existing on no sleep. Poor guy!! Gr8 stuff! Too bad you can't do this more often!!!
i LOVED Brian Williams on Today...can we see more of him in that type of venue?  Feeling a little 'Bonnie Hunt' right now, but injecting him into the fabulous Meredith / Matt / Al mix more often would be a fabulous morning thing...
thought Brian would be taller
Meredith is always a pleasure but this is a duo I wouldn't mind getting used to!

Nice job Brian.

Oh, and you too Matt
I am sure that SNL will spoof this duo SOON! (I hope)! Matt + Brian + Al = a perfect combination for a great Friday morning laugh. NBC should make it a regular Friday event- even if it is for just one of the three hours during the morning.
OMGosh.  I loved Matt and Brian together.  I really like Meredith, but this was a refreshing cup of coffee...!!!
This is good, i always enjoy Brian in the nights and Matt in the morning and i enjoyed them but the two at the same time this is great. keep up the good works guys.
OMGosh.  I loved Matt and Brian together.  I really like Meredith, but this was a refreshing cup of coffee...!!!
Nice that Brian could let his hair down.  What a pleasant surprise to tune in to laughs this morning.  I couldn't pull myself away!
These two have great chemistry together and are really fun and funny. The Today Show should have Brian co-host with Matt more often! Loved it!
Great call Matt asking your friend Brian to be on this morning.  Brian Williams has the best sense of humor. I loved seeing him!  Matt and Brian make a great team.  Watching those two interact was more refreshing than my morning coffee!
Brian Williams ROCKS! Thanks for the morning laughs today, gentlemen. You are a great team. (love Meredith, too...)
2funny! loved the statement  slum dog square pants* oscar worthy! still love mer tho!
I work from home and didn't get anything done all morning because Matt, Brian, Al, and Paula had me cracking up!  What a great start to the weekend!  Matt and Brian, you rocked!!
It was refreshing! I've seen Brian on late night shows and he's so funny for someone doing serious news. Has he done SNL? If not, he should. If he has darn I missed it. Want to see more of the Dynamic Duo - Matt & Brian.
Certainly one of my favorite people in/on the news. We love you Mr. Williams. Thanks for doing a great job every time!
I'm sorry, but Al Roker is a national treasure. I just laughed myself silly at my desk!
I totally agree with the above comments.  Brian Williams should stay as anchor.  He has a fabulous dry sense of humor.  He seems pure and holsome like a "father knows best" kind of person.  I watch his news cast each evening and enjoy him very much.  I love his very unique and distinctive way of talking as he delivers the news.  What's not to like about this man. He is funny, handsome and I do like each tie he wears.
Briand and Matt are hilarious in the morning. It's nice to see Brian's funny side since his nightly news is more serious.  Should have him fill in way more often.  Good choice for co-host Matt!!! =)
Today was perfect! Thank you for the laughs,Raining men was the perfect song.I don't believe any other morning show can beat this..Can't wait for monday, this was a great way to end the work week and monday will be great to start with all three of the BEST and Funniest anchors.Thank You
I am enjoying watching Brian Williams with Matt Lauer.  What a refreshing change of pace!!  Please have Brian Williams on again!!! He is great for the show!!!!!  Love the show too!!!!!
Brian, you are a hidden comedic treasure!!! Your sense of humor is great. Don't be a stranger to the Today Show!  You were fantastic! It must feel really great to be able to "let your hair down" once in awhile. You do a fantastic job on your evening show, also.
I want to add my voice to all those people who loved Brian Williams on this morning's show. Fabulous!
I love Meredith!  But, I totally enjoyed Brian Williams sense of humor and the banter between he and Matt.  I watch Brian in the evening, but never get to see this side of him.  Good choice for a fill in!
It was a great way to start Today!!! The laughter, the levity... you know we needed that and more of it to help take in all the other stuff that happens in the news.  Brian and Matt are like Dean and Jerry, Hope and Crosby... they play so well together.  Thank you again for the laughter!!!
Brian your hysterical!!! I love the Today show, but Today was a special treat watching you and Matt.  This was a GREAT way to start my weekend.

Bring on Brian Williams as a regular! I always watch him in the evening. Who knew he had such a fun energetic side. I would TIVO Today every day if Brian was a regular!
Sorry, but it's tedious to see Brian Williams trying to act nonchalantly funny.
Newsmen needing laughs are too needy to be credible.
We had no idea Brian Williams could be so funny. Put him on the morning show!!
I love watching Matt every morning but adding Brian to the mix was perfect.  To then have Dan (super hot) Abrahams.  HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU ALL.  Thanks NBC.
I just love Brian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NBC should have Dan Abrams on more often also, give us ladies some eye candy please!!!!!!!!!!
i was 10 minutes late getting to work this morning but it was well worth it.  i could not stop watching Brian and Matt this morning.  It made the whole morning go well.  I didn't even have to listen to my motivational tapes tiVo'd the show.  ha.  just the greatest show i have ever watched.  thanks it was the best.  Angie
I agree that Al and Paula Deen were hilarious.
What was most outrageous, however, was watching Paula Deen suck each tasty finger before using her bare hands to toss the ingredients into her salad.
Was Al aware of the extra flavor added?
I thought Brian Williams was hilarious! I never realized how funny he is. I wish I could have watched the whole show. "Slumdog Squarepants"? haha. Have him on again the next time Meredith is out, please!
my husband and I laughed up a storm this morning, matter of fact my husband was in the middle of sipping a cup of coffee and matt and brian said something and my husband sprayed our dog with coffee!!it was a great show!got to go...have to give our dog a bath..
The only thing that could have been funnier this morning would have been if Brian, Matt, and Al had been doing the luge...or perhaps a skating routine at Rockefeller plaza. You all were great! I loved "Slum Dog Square Pants!"Sorry...GMA has two female co-hosts, I bet NBC would do well with two male co-hosts, Matt and Brian. That way, I could watch Katie of the evenings and not feel guilty for leaving NBC. Katie is doing a great job and am compelled to follow this former "Today" show family member on to her evening news program.

Seriously, Ann Curry, you rock. You are absolutely the best female newsjournalist in the business. You go anywhere and everywhere to get the story. I admire your courage, compassion, and professionalism. Keep it up! You're my idol!

NBC does it well, very very well!
I have to say, I enjoyed you both, Brian and Matt. But I must say, halfway through the first 15 minutes with 4 men all getting into a discussion about how to fix our economic problems-- I said to myself, "and we don't have any women on the show this morning because....?!" So later in the hour when Al Roker did the "it's raining men" bit I laughed hysterically! Enjoyed the changes this morning guys, but I do like Ann, Natalie and Meredith
Slumdog Squarepants!! This will be the catchiest phrase for the Oscars!!
I thought Brian Williams was a hoot.  It was great to see him this morning.  Brian and Matt should go on the road....
When I heard Brian Williams was going to be on the Today Show I almost called in sick!  Brian and Matt together were hysterical.  I think you should have Brian on with Matt at least once a week.
Loved it!!!  Please have him on again soon.  So nice to see a different side of him.  Who knew he was so funny???
