I LOVE New York cabbies.  Let me say it one more time -- I LOVE New York cabbies!

I left my wallet behind in a New York City cab on Saturday night. I called the police, the taxi commission...and, well--- I got nada.  I pretty much kissed my wallet goodbye.

Then, early Sunday morning just as I was about to cancel my credit cards, I checked my voicemail at work and there he was, ASHAM.   “Lady, I found your wallet in my cab.  My name is Asham.  Call me.” Beautiful.

I love New York City cabbies, especially Asham.

Asham My hats are off to you. That was very thoughtful of you to do for Hoda.You have principles, and you are honest good for you.  I am so happy for her. Loosing your wallet can be heart wreching, and very stressfull to cancel everything. I lost my wallet sometime ago. In less than an hour hundreds of dollars was charged to my accounts,.One person wrote a $500 check to a grocery store.
Thank you for doing such a kind deed. "Karma." It will come back to you. Hoda does a lot of kind deeds so it was menat to be.
Keep up the good work. Honesty is the best policy.

Cabbies are underrated and get a lot of negativity.  It's been rare that I come across a cabbie that is rude or unfriendly, and definitely not more so than any other service positions.

Great story and in picture of Hoda and Asham, Hoda is wearing a beautiful white scarf which means it is really cold in NY. Watching Today's Talk Show this morning, I noticed Hoda and Kathee Lee both have on sleeveless dresses -why?  It is less than twenty degrees outside with snow and ice here in KY.   Your studio must be "pretty warm"!!
