For this year’s Ends of the Earth series, which begins Nov. 17, Ann Curry went down to one of the lowest points on Earth for an expedition with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

One of the challenges she faced was negotiating for room in a six-foot space along with her fellow travelers. See why Ann called the journey a “once in a lifetime experience.”

Was wondering who of the the of the earth series may be traveling with or at home their family is using a Hugg-A-Planet Earth to track their adventures.

I am excited about this year's Ends of the Earth adventures.  My husband, two daughters and I summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in August this year.  If Ann needs any first hand advice please email!

We are a museum in North Carolina mounting an
exhibit about hydrothermal vents.  We would like
to show the video clip of Ann Curry's RV Alvin cruise
to the general public visitor on a video monitor.  Do we need special
