Today, Hoda and Kathie Lee went where no female TV personality has gone before: makeup-less. The dynamic duo put on bare, brave faces – without dark lighting! – to show TODAY viewers  an essential bedtime skincare routine (a noble cause). I loved the segment on make-up today since I am a woman over 40 and need all the help I can get!!!  I've recently been reading up on what products are best, and your segment today put it all together for me!  Thank you so much for baring it all!!!!  I do not go out with make up ever.  I live in a small town in Iowa where my husband runs the local renewable fuel plant and is well-known.  I feel as if I have a reputation to uphold to look good in the community.

It was amazing they made such a big deal about taking off their makeup.  I'm pushing 50 and have never use any makeup except for very special occassions.  I might look better with makeup, but I don't like the ordeal of putting it on. My face might not be pretty, but I'm comfortable.

I just wanted to ask. Why does Kathie Lee and Hoda wear make-up to begin with ???
When they removed their make-up, I thought they were just as beautiful if not more beautiful without it. They both have natural beauty, and have very nice complections. I personally dont wear make-up, however I should. I wish I were half as pretty as these two women....

My problem with the segment is I don't know what some types of the products were. For example I've never used a toner and have no idea what it is. I would have appreciated a list of what they were. I'm in my late 60's and have only used a cleanser and moisturizer.

Bravo, ladies...you both have beautiful complexions!  I am one of the over 40 who suffer from acne breakouts and some hyperpigmentation.  What are the better store brands that I could afford?  Were the ones that Kathie Lee used the best ones to go for with my skin type? I'm not fond of the tedium of putting on makeup, and generally leave the house with just mascara, lip gloss, and an occasional use of tinted moisturizer.  Thanks for a fun segment!

I really thought Hoda looked really nice even without her make up and as for Kathie Lee she also looked great (you both really need no makeup) I am in the 40's group it took me along time to go out without any makeup but now on my days off I will not wear any makeup only to work,......I really enjoy watching your show (when time permits) you are awsome Keep Up The Good Work A big Fan from California!!!!

This was a great segment, and very informative.  Both ladies looked great without their makeup, but Hoda especially looked much YOUNGER without the heavy foundation and pastel lids!  I never leave the house without my makeup - I can't IMAGINE doing it on national television.

I thought the beauty segment was great. Both Kathie Lee and Hoda are very beautiful women with or without makeup. I just want to say you two are wonderful and your show is much better than the view. My hat off to you Hoda for taking ALL your makeup off ,unlike Kathy Lee who had the same amount of time but purposely did not remove her eye makeup. With or without makeup, I think we all know that one's true beauty comes from the inside.  We've testament to Hoda's after her recent medical issue.  While we all would prefer to be beautiful also on the outside, it's equally important to spend as much time cultivating a generous, loving spirit!

I thought the segment was good. I use the Oil of Olay serum.

I'd like to know how they both can have skin that looks like they have no pores.  I've always had a skin issue, roseacea (sp) and acne scars and now wrinkles.  I hope they are thankful for their beauty.

Re segment airlines charging extra for passengers who need more than one seat.  As a retired airline employee, the airline I worked for offered "customers of size" to purchase an additional seat for their comfort and the other passenger's comfort.  The policy was that they would be reimbursed for the "extra seat" if the flight was not completely full. Check airline policies.
