From TODAY producer Josh Weiner

Between brewing coffee and roasting a panini, we caught up with Christina Cirulli, who runs TODAY's on-set catering operations at the Olympic green compound in Beijing.

Q: You have a long table with chairs and a seemingly endless supply of food in your trailer. Who comes through here?
A: Everyone from crew to guests to talent. I stock the green room trailer with food, but a lot of the athletes who are on the show find their way in here anyway looking for snacks.

Q: What are the most popular items for the anchors?
A: Well Matt (Lauer) and Al (Roker) really like to put peanut butter on plain Saltine-like crackers. The only time Meredith came in she wanted some roasted vegetables.

Q: What other foods go quickly?
A: Frappuccino and Powerade. Oh the cheese platters with grapes and crackers, too! Brian Williams apparently likes these cheese platters a lot.

Q: What's the most surprising thing you've seen in your 10 days on the set?
A: The skinny Chinese models – they came in and attacked the Snickers, chips and candy. It was shocking but great!

Q: I heard Michael Phelps spent a good amount of time in here?
A: He was charging his cell phone – he must have gotten a lot of calls after winning all those golds. He also changed his clothes, but I looked the other way.

Q: How do you help the chefs who come in before their cooking segments?
A: I get them what they need, like knives or woks. One time they were making dumplings in here. Natalie Coughlin was in here making her dish and she had to practice pronouncing the Chinese ingredients.

Q : What have you learned here?
A: You have to multitask and be creative every night. Live TV is very interesting!

Christina is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. And she's not bad on the dance floor either!
I love when you show the crew that works on the Today show. They are just regular people. I wonder if the entire crew went to Beijing?
What else can I say----LOVE watching all the crew, but especially Meredith--so down to earth--funny--and really seems to enjoy what she is doing with all the cast!  Never forget to try something at our age--you are tooo much fun
My daughter Gabrielle was born in Sleepy Hollow NY. We were there for 3 months (came back to Beijing July 17) and had all intentions of hitting the Today Show in Manhattan - but try waking a 20-month-old at 5am! We'll be at the Closing Ceremony - what do you have planned for that? We'll try to chat the hosts up during the show. Gabrielle's the cutest so we'd be psyched if she got a moment with the cast.
Hi; I LOVE your show...  Watch it every morning...  Cannot say enough on such a great job your crew have done (Matt, Al, Anne and Meredith and evening crew) plus all involved behind the set covering the olympics.  Being a Canadian my preference was to watch NBC.  Keep up the GREAT work...  Have a great day.  T. Minardi
Crissy!  You rock, sister.  I am so proud of my fellow Elmiran.  Tell Brian Williams that Elmira still loves him, too.  And next time Michael Phelps changes his clothes near you, don't look the other way!!  See you very soon!
What a job!  Does Christini Ciruclli (sp?) work for the Today Show all the time?  Does she have an assistant?
How did they choose who went to Beijing?
The entire Cirulli family are a wonderful bunch of folk.
Chris and Brian Williams should have enjoyed one another, both being Elmira, NY natives.
I love the Today show in the morning before work.  Everyone is so informative and real.
Girl you rock!!!  We've always known you were a star, but whoa Nellie!
Thanks for the behind the scenes peek!
I really liked it when the crews of todays shows went to get wet. I enjoyed watching them. Thank you NBC for covering the historic Olympic. Great covereds  and fun fun fun to watch . GREAT JOB...Hurray.
Christina- How did you get your start to this job? I love to cook and would like to be a personal chef someday, so I was curious how what you do came about! Also, why did you turn your head when Michael Phelps changed his clothes?!!! Just kidding, but I know alot of women worldwide would pay money to see that!!!
I am always quite surprised by how Chinese girls can eat so much sweets and junk food, yet are so thin.  I guess it's the genetics!
Crissy......you ROCK!
She,s one of the hardest worker you can meet and she great at her job. Her brother Mike
I love the Today show and have watched over 20 yrs!  It is always fun meeting the crew who helps make things work!  If it weren't for them they show would not be the same!
