As we have at previous Games, we've partnered with Getty Images again in Beijing.

In addition to providing us with some of the most powerful pictures from all over Beijing, we also have a Getty photographer on our set who has been taking portraits of the athletes that appear on our show.

Here are a few highlights. Their smiles tell the story better than any words.

I've enjoyed watching the Olympics!  My favorite to watch is gymnastics and swimming.  I have to say Congratulations to Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liutin and Micheal Phelps of course!  I just love Shawn Johnson's character though!  She seems so sweet and she always has a smile on her face no matter what!  Way to go Team America!

Greatttttttttttttt job to NBC covering the Olympics--you have kept me captivated each night with all the coverage.  I think the Today show crew is awsome--the right mix for all to enjoy-the dream team--Matt, Meridith, Ann and Al all deserve a gold metal--keep up the great job!!!!!!
I loved the olympics this year! I was captivated from the opening ceremonies onward. My favorites were the swimming events and gymnastics, like always. I would take breaks at work just to watch the swimming events. Go team USA!
I am SO incredible impressed with your coverage of the Olympics. I have never tuned in to watch the Olympics like I have this time around - practically every night. I also loved all the add'l segments you included on the amazing Chinese culture. I had no idea how contemporary Beijing was. Your coverage definitely sparked a fire under my rear to go to China someday. It looks incredible... so much history and culture to experience. Bravo!
NBC --- You've won the gold!  A most outstanding job of bringing us, the viewers, the Olympics in every aspect and detail.  I have spent the last 2 weeks glued to my TV until Bob Costas signs off!  I think many would agree that we've all enjoyed 2008 Beijing Olympics as much as Matt, Meredith, Ann, Al, and everybody else at NBC.  Did somebody say Emmy!?
I am sooooo excited about the Olympics!! my favorite sport to watch is Track and Field!
