Updated with a note from Kathie Lee....

Well, I survived my first week and apparently America did, too! There’s a lot to get used to but Hoda and I are getting more comfortable each day. The crowds have been fantastic and they’re giving us much-needed energy and enthusiasm. I want to thank everybody for tuning in and I hope we’ll become part of your morning routine.

Dear Mrs. Kathie Lee Gifford;
   Congrats on your return to morning television!
I have been a long time fan of yours from the Live With Regis & Kathie Lee days!
It probably doesn't matter to you but I am happy that the reviews from the media have been good to you this week.
I am sure you have, long ago, learned to ignore them.
I actually don't put much stock in them but I am still heartened that they have been kind.
I wish you All the Best!
Welcome home!
Thank you.

   Yours Truly

   Gary G. Trosino
Welcome Back...............We missed you!
Kathie Lee is the Today shows' BEST addition since the loss of Katie Couric. Good for her and I hope that she remains a part of the morning line of anchors.
I'm so glad Kathy Lee has joined the TODAY show, she brings such spark and life to the third hour.  I love the different topics, guest and format she and Hoda brings to the show.  I "listen" to the show at work, I get so tired of the endless fashion and cooking segments.  Wecome back Kathy Lee!!!!
I'm enjoying the segment with Kathie Lee and Hoda, but don't enjoy the outdoor location - too much noise, wind, etc. I'm so busy wataching Kathie's hair blow around and trying to filter out the crowd and city noise, I can't concentrate on the subject matter.  Are you going to bring them indoors?
I think it is great having Kathie Lee on the show, but I do not like the new format.  I really do not need to hear all about her going to the wrong party or about Hoda's trip to Rehoboth.  I think Hoda is very dear and is a positive uplifting addition to the show---but I liked the old format--where that was so much going on each day to empower the TV audience.  With going through the newspaper for little tibits as the next routine after the opening---I feel that they are copying the Regis routine.  Again, go back to what has attracted me to that fourth hour from the beginning----show the audience how their lives can be better by learning from what the fourth hour of the Today show has to offer!!!
I really enjoyed watching Kathie Lee's first week back so much that I started watching this week also.  I used to watch her on Regis and Kathie Lee and I  really have missed her. She looks prettier than ever and she still has a great sence of humor. I love hearing about what she did on the weekends and at home. God Bless you Kathie Lee
I have been taping the Today show for years since I moved to Buffalo so I do not miss anything...actually it is only one hour when you fast forward the repeat weather, commercials etc.  When you went to the 4th hour...I got bored easily and rarely watched the whole thing...until you brought Kathy Lee in....what a breath of fresh air.  I rarely got to watch her before and I just love the last hour now...please don't change it...keep it just as it is!
