Did NASA Find Life on Mars?

A week ago, Al and I discussed the possibility that UFOs might exist. Today, we asked the question: Is there life on Mars?

Some think that in photos taken by NASA's Spirit Rover in late 2007, a human-like figure is visible sitting on the rocks of a crater.

The photos (including the one at left) have caused a stir among bloggers and in the British media (The Times of London suggested that maybe the figure is Osama Bin Laden hiding out).

Your flippant approach to "life" on Mars, and/or ruins, artificial structures, etc., is absolutely  ludicrous to me, especially because I have been reading Richard C. Hoagland's latest book:  "Dark Mission".  His theories, postulations, conclusions, and clear photographic evidence, point to artifical structures, buildings, remnants of "machines", on Mars and our Moon.  All of this evidence has been manipulated, covered up, and hidden by NASA, according to Hoagland.  Your effort to make a joke of this, instead of conducting a thorough investigation, makes me suspect that you're either a NASA "puppet", or you're convinced they've been telling us the truth for decades while covering up the real evidence they themselves have found on Mars and our Moon. If ancient civilizations truly existed in our Solar System, what is so wrong with us knowing it.  When you look at the awesome wonders of the Universe, including life itself, how could anybody believe that "God" or a Supreme Being, or whatever you want to call a divinity, could create intelligent life on just one insignificant planet.

Of course, if you look at enough things, you will find something that looks like something else.  Mars is cold--so this is obviously the Martian Otzi (the ice man).

Life on Mars? Well, bizarre images have emerged showing a mystery female figure walking down a hill on the arid planet.

The photo of what looks like a naked woman with her arm outstretched was among several taken on the red planet and sent back to Earth by NASA's Mars explorer Spirit, the Daily Mail reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed website.

Though no official confirmation has come from NASA whether the figure is an alien or an optical illusion caused by a landscape on Mars, it has set the Internet abuzz that there really is life on Mars.

As one enthusiast put it on the website, "These pictures are amazing. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what appears to be a naked alien running around on Mars."

The news of the mystery woman on Mars came just days after a team of French scientists claimed to have discovered proof that the red planet possesses high-level dense clouds of dry ice, which scud across its orange sky.

btw i also heard she wuz naked, dunno how anyone found that out. personally i'd go with the osama theory ... explains why cia cudnt find him ... then again cud be cia shipped him to mars - the first human experiment ... givin more evidence to the fact that osama is in short invincible ... and ... is a woman ... lol ...

It looks like somebody took a picture from the Patterson Bigfoot video and photoshopped it into this picture. Maybe that's why there have fewer bigfoot sitings recently--he's vacationing on Mars.

This picture proves nothing, when u see shapes in the clouds do you acutally think its deliberate? no its your mind trying to relate it as something. This picture is probably of a rock formation which has been there for millions of years and we have only just sighted it. In my honest oppinion i feel we have more things to worry about our world first before we start funding projects to find "life on over planets". How many people out there are dying of hunger, lack of information and no shelter. I dont want to sound like one of those TV commericals and i have never paid for any of them but its not our responsiblity our governments say "we will help 3rd world countries by donations" but how many actually give enough?

This "life form" is honestly from your own minds and when the day they release actual proof i will bite my tounge

I for one don't have a problem with the idea of other beings. I mean i know there are  mean what are angels or demons or even God are i know for one they are not human because it saws jesus took human form which makes him unhuman. So there is other worldly beings!

Of course I believe this image. How naive could we be to think we are the only ones out here? Scientists say it would be impossible for our life forms,or any, to survive on the "Red Planet". But did they think that other species can ONLY survive out there, and parish on our planet? Maybe they need the extreme temperatures to survive. Or maybe this is Gods way of "starting over" somewhere new.

i think this discovery is the greatest of our lifetime! And i believe it deserves a closer look by everyone and shouldnt be made into a joke. this could lead us into our next evolutionary step in discovering what truely lies beyond our world.

If NASA wanted to "Keep things secret" why would they release this picture.Why is the vehicle we sent not surrounded by these beings ? If a strange object came to earth we would all certainley stand and stare, Prod and poke etc. Its nothing more than a fluke photo, a bit like looking at the clouds and being able to make out a face etc.

Like a lot of us I believe that that there must be more than us us in the vastness of our universe.  So why is it so difficult to believe that there may be humanoid life on one of our sister planets. Lets face it, the attempts to get to Mars have been less than succesful and well we really have to take the word of the powers that be that the atmosphere there isn't conduycive to support life, come on, when have we ever believed anything governments say. Ok, when the sun was formed it gathered gasses around its core so to start with it larger and starts to settle over time, so we could postulate that at some point in history Mars was as close as we are right now, so life may have flourished but knowing that the sun would eventually shrink to the size it is now they had to devise a way to survive the change to their planet.  So you tell me what there options were.
I've got a few ideas, and I'm sure you do too.

regardless of whether the picture is a real one or not, there should be no doubt among intelligent class of people that life is there on every planet.  it's common sense. just that the modern science is too far away, from the point of view of technology as well as information, to locate it.  Hopefully, as they grow they will find more and more of life on other planets.  Hare Krishna.

I agree, why does everything have to be brought to the level of a joke? Especially, since there have been so many recent sightings of UFO's around the globe that have been seen by so many different people. I feel that the political powers that be would prefer to keep us all in our little fishbowl to keep us from exploring other possibilities.

IF this is an image looking like a man or woman, why cant they take a second picture or rather zoom that picture or take a close up shot. Just releasing a single picture do not confirm anything. They should provide us with more pictures from different angles, then only we can make out something from it.

This wouldn't be a woman. God creates creatures as per the atmospheric conditions of the planet. All creatures may not be like human beings. If there is a life in Mars, obviously would not be exact like human being. How can a person can live in Mars (in coldest area)? Any confirmation still Mars has oxygen in air to live?

I'm willing to believe that life did (or does) exist on mars and that NASA may have covered up evidence, but then why release this photo?  It really does look like the Patterson bigfoot images.  This has all the earmarks of a skeptics trap.  In a few days or weeks after ufologist have come forward and endorsed the photo, I'm betting some hoaxster will come forward to detail how he created it and have a good laugh at the 'goofy believers'.  Tread carefully with this one.
