Meredith's Page Mix-Up

On Friday, the NBC comedy "30 Rock" taped part of an episode in Studio 1A, which led to a bit of a mix-up for Meredith (who was part of the taping). Matt and Meredith talked about it this morning, but it involved Kevin, the TODAY page, and "Kenneth the Page," one of the characters on "30 Rock." WATCH VIDEO


So, do they look alike? Kenneth is on the left, Kevin is on the right.

Kevin delivers newspapers to Meredith's dressing room every morning, and he's ubiquitous around the halls during the show, leading guests to the green room, makeup room, studio and generally making himself useful.

Well on Friday, as I understand it, when Meredith saw Kevin making himself useful at the "30 Rock" taping, she thought he was "Kenneth the Page." So she said to him, "I love you on that show! We have a page who looks just like you who brings me my newspapers in the morning!"

So Kevin, without missing a beat, responded, "That's me."

I think Kevin the Page is cuter than Kenneth the page.  They don't look anything alike.  It is nice to see you be able to laugh at yourself.  I would like to hear more about the pages.  They are such cute kids!!!

I'm KEVIN the page's Mom, so I think he's just a tad cuter!  What a funny story, and what a wonderful thing to a spot on the show.  Kevin's family and friends were so excited to see him.  The page program is a great program and he is just loving the Today Show!  Thanks to NBC and thanks to a great page program!  Fondly, Mom of KEVIN the page!

My husband and I are friends of the Prince Family.  All we can say is that your Kevin is much more handsome and funnier than Kenneth The Page and by the way he looks just like his Dad the real handsome dude. We need to see more of Kevin!

Kudos to the Today Show for having a sense of humor.  Perhaps Kevin and Kenneth should work together on 30 Rock?  Clearly Kevin has the poise and humor to handle the job.  Just a thought.

Im Kevin the Pages biggest fan. I mean I only lived with him for 4 years at Syracuse. Also I would have to agree with everybody else that he is much funnier then Kenneth.  WE WANT MORE KEVIN!!!!

I don't think that was necessary at all for Matt to try to embarrass her on the air!!!!  That was something for private not in front of viewers.  She handled it was grace and class. Matt was rude. I have never heard Diane on GMA ever being rude or one up on Robin.

Omg all of ya'll are horrible ya'll keep sayin Kevin is cuter then Kenneth how do u think that makes him feel.I saw Kenneth on the Ellen show an thought he was hilarious an thats what makes him cute someone made the comment that Kevins funnier, well if Kevin's funnier than why does Kenneth have the job?An they dont look anything alike so I dont know how she got them confused!! We all know Kevin is the man!!! He would make a much better Page on the show since he has been through it.. I think it is funny Matt can poke fun at Merideth,it makes them seem more human that fictional.  For all you critics, stop your hating and understand the only reason that Kevin doesnt have the job on 30 Rock is because he didn't try out for it, and apparently didnt need to.  Kennith watch out for your job, your on the hot seat.

I am a friend of Kevin's from Syracuse University and I think he should replace Kenneth the page on 30 Rock. He is way better looking and is also the CEO of a major corporation (Logmedia). There should be a vote on the Today Show in the near future as to who gets to be the Page of TODAY and who gets to be the actor on the show. I will organize it!
