Why do you go to commercial right as the band was going to sing again??? You did the same thing when Bon Jovi was on. So annoying!!!!!!
Thanks for a great morning with BRRR-U-U-U-cccceeee. Love to start everyday like Today. We're getting ready for him in Philly.
Great show!
Awesome!  Thanks again Dan!!  You must be a TRUE Bruce fan!!  You totally understand our addiction!
wow, this is the best show ever!!!  keep it going!!!  i feel like i'm back in miami 1978!!  and the new songs................................ as fantastic as all!!
This was the best dam concert series I have seen so far, We love Bruc
I would like to know WHY nbc sees a need to do the dumb today stuff when the BOSS is playing...they should give it up.. Bruce was not going to let his fans down by singing one or two songs.
Thank you, thank you!!!  I loved this concert and could've listened to him for 7 more songs!  BRUCE is the best and there is nothing I'd like better than to meet this awesome man...or at least get in the front row just once to see him before I pass on from this exsistence.  BRUCE YOU ROCK!!  Good mix of songs both old and new, but I want more!  :)
Got to work a little late -- couldn't take my eyes off the TV!!!! -- BRUCE & ESB are freaking AMAZING!!!
going to see them tonight at CAA -- their shows are what rock and roll dreams are made of!!!!
this show is so great i wish that they would kepp airing it and pass on normal programming!
Ann Curry is mean-- she obviously was having a problem with the flexiblity of the shows format.  What does she have against Bruce?  The band sounded great- can't wait to see them live!!
I have the Today show recording right now, I think I am going to have to leave work early today!  Can't wait to see the concert in Minneapolis!!  Bruce and the E Street Band are AWESOME!!!!
Great Show but can you guys stop cutting away to fans.  I am watching to see Bruce not old women jumping up and down.  Please....you are killing me with camera.  Also,  Does ann really need to do her poiant remarks about the songs.  We are fans,we get it!  Her interpertation is not needed.  It really kills the moment.  It seems so FAKE!   Bruce was great.  Now can you get U2 and tell Barry manilow to stay home and I will watch all the TIME!
I have waited for 2 weeks for this concert. I would like to say my Opinion of this New format of the Today Show where they leave at 9 am to go to Regis & Kelly Show and then come back at 10. I missed the whole song that I had been waiting for!!!! The show came back on tv as he was singing the last line of Hometown.Who ever's idea it was to break this show up like this when they went to 4 hours- is a real Idiot! It is disgusting and annoying and loosing people. People will turn to another station and just forget about turning back. As for the concert series singers- it's evident you want people to have to travel to NY to see their favorite artist without an hour interuption. This is not possible for a lot of people.
Thank you....to the power that be at NBC....for the extra coverage of Bruce and the Band.  What a great way to start the day!!
I left Jersey in '89 for the warmer weather in Florida, but today I am very homesick after watching BRUCE!  Wish i was there.

Always a Jersey Girl
How good was Bruce and the E-Street. He is unbelievable .......Just keeps on going , you gotta love the passion. Thanks to the producers of The Today Show, for getting such quality acts
Envious Bruce fan in the UK after reading all of the above. Crossing of the days until he and the band arrive in the UK.
My children are the next generation BRUCE fans.  They dream about BRUCE.  His picture is on their DREAMWEAVER and his songs play in their heads as they fall asleep.  www.pleasantdreaming.com
Congratulations to the TODAY SHOW for honoring Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and all of us devoted followers of this fine GROUP!  THANK YOU for making my day!!!!
Bruce was awesome - this show gave me goosebumps!!! I love the new CD and love the E street band. So happy to see them all together.
I'm so glad we can see it online! I live in Belgium and we would not be able to see it otherwise.
I've got tickets for the Belgian concert ! can't wait !
I'm happy the E-street band will be there. I have a soft spot for "miami"Steve because , one time, about  24 years ago my boyfriend and I wanted to go see a concert but couldn't really afford it. So we went there to soak up the atmosphere and sit on the grass outside hoping to hear some of the music. But security guys were asking us to leave just as the bus arrived carrying the band members.
Steve stopped to ask what the problem was . So we explained that we couldn't afford the tickets and could we please just sit outside. He trusted us and told the security guy it was ok. So we had our spot on the grass and a really lovely memory.
The concert started and we could here the music. But after the first song the door opened on the back of the building and the security guy came out. We thought he was going to ask us to leave again. But he came up to us and said we were invited to come in, he had to take us somewhere.
He took us inside , to the side of the stage and there another guy guided us to the front of the stage . We could not believe our luck , but did when Steve recognized us and gave us a wink.
We never got a chance to say thank you !
But it's one of those things you'll never forget. I still feel happy now , thinking about the experience we had that night. Great music , great show, but most of all such a wonderful gesture that warmed our hearts then , and still does now ! Thank You Steve !!
Started out enjoying Springfield's concert, but was hoping nothing political would come up.  So sorry but shut the tv off when it started.  Usually watch your show everyday.
AWESOME.......AND THEY'RE JUST GETTIN WARMED UP!!!
CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 11-18 BOSS-TOWN SHOW!!!!!
GOT THE NEW CD YESTERDAY VIA PRE-ORDER.  AWESOME.
SORRY BRUCE.....THE RED SOX RULE!!!! heh heh!!!!!
The TODAY SHOW CONCERT SERIES SHOULD BE A COMMERCIAL FREE ZONE.
Hello, fellow BRUUUUCE fans~ What a Today Show that was.  Thank you producers for giving us the coverage you did.  I keep an eye on the Today show as I am able time wise and can easily say I have NEVER seen coverage of a band time wise as we did today.

Would I have liked to see the songs while the ads were on?  OF COURSE!  Do I understand the sales factor and ad content paid for? again, yep, I do.  But as a BRUUUUCE and the E STREET major fan, I appreciate the coverage today we did get.  Thank you for that and thank you, E Street and Bruce for the gift of your music, your commitment and your passion.  It is appreciated!!!!!

It just made me so excited, unbelievably ready for the tour train that is BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND!!!!! BRUUUUUCE!  I cannot wait!!

Cin

ps to the naysayers, the non Bruce fans, you just don't get it.  Yet.  Keep listening and don't take the music that he gives, the words he writes, the songs he makes with the E Street for granted.  It took me many years to appreciate all that is B & tESB and I can now only say how much the music has inspired me.  Simply inspired me.  Let it inspire you for just a minute.  Or a lifetime.  Thank you, Bruuuce.

Awesome Bruce this morning You guys do a great job wish there was no commercials He just didnt want to quit
I don't mind the cut aways to the fans but at least keep the crowd mic on the camera down so we can hear the band.
Thank you Today show and producers for giving us Bruce fans a free taste of his music magic.  What a great way to start the day!  Bruce Springstein has been my "Number One" since High School (25 years now!).  The band brought tears to my eyes while performing, "My Hometown".  Thank you again for a memorable moment!
Guess I was the only one with POOR audio reception; could hear the crowd but not Bruce. Too bad I can't lip read...looked like a great concert.
WOW!  622 Comments on "Countdown to Springsteen: Today Favorites".  This has to be some kind of "Allday Blog" record.  Just wondering...Is it?

Thanks again Today Show...After watching all the clips here...Watched the show on DVR when I got home from work Friday.  It was awesome!  Great Job!  See ya tomorrow night Bruce for the first show in Hartford & the last show in the states Boston!!!  Can hardly wait!
