High school drama teacher Mandy Muniz lost over 170 pounds in just over a year.  This is her daily maintenance routine...

5:00 AM - Get up. Take a multi vitamin. Eat a hard boiled egg. Drink an 8 oz glass of water.

5:10-6:00 AM - Ride stationary bike on varied settings totaling approximately 7-8 miles for 50 minutes. Drink a 16 oz glass of water. (I added my exercise routine after I had already started to lose weight with LA Weight Loss. With LA, I was losing weight without exercise but gained energy so I started this program.   I started at 10 minutes every other day and over the course of weight loss and stabilization I worked up to my current routine. They even customized my program once I started losing weight.)

6:00-7:00 AM - Work out to Denise Austin’s Fit and Light or Daily Workout on Lifetime for 30 minutes.  Work out to celebrity trainers on My Workout Powered by Pod Fitness.com. Workouts consist of combinations of Yoga, Pilates and Cardio-Strength/Interval Training with weights, kickboxing, step aerobics, toning and stretching. (The workout changes each day to target different areas of the body. Drink 16 oz glass of water).

7:00 AM - Drink a cup of caffeine-free herbal tea with Splenda. Eat a slice of toast with margarine, an apple sprinkled with cinnamon and Splenda and an 8 oz glass of fat free milk. Drink another glass of 8 oz water.

Mandy, you drink a LOT of water. Why so much? I don't like water. Would I be able to add one of the 5 calorie flavor packets to bottle of water and get the same effect?
This is great!  It's nice to see your time management in organizing job + exercise + food.
How much weight did you usually lose in a week?
Mandy and Joy:

I have read all 4 entries of this blog and I am very much inspired by your story.  I want to thank you Mandy for opening your heart to inspire us all.  Joy, the Fit Club is a great idea.  Please keep it up.  Thank you.
This is a true testimony of how you can lose weight with a busy schedule.  It just takes will-power and a good workout and diet plan.
