Tomorrow on TODAY: What We're Planning for Monday

Posted: Sunday, August 26, 2007 10:20 PM by Dana Haller

Here's what we're planning for tomorrow:

Midwest Storm Damage
After last week's storms the Midwest has begun the clean-up, but not without getting another hit from mother nature. Today tornadoes and severe thunderstorms hit Ohio. Thousands of residents in the region are still without power. We will have the very latest on this story tomorrow.

Greece Burning
Greece has had a very hot and dry summer. That is only fueling a batch of wildfires in the country. Already the fires are responsible for the deaths of 58 people. On Sunday the blaze threatened the 2,800-year-old ruins of the birthplace of the ancient Olympics. Ned Colt will report on this tomorrow.

The Hunt for Bin Laden
We're coming up on the sixth anniversary of the September 11th terror attacks. So, why hasn't our intelligence community and anti-terror forces captured the man responsible for the attacks? Tomorrow Richard Engel will have a report on the hunt for Bin Laden and we'll get the latest from Gen. Barry McCaffrey.

What Else We're Working on for Monday's Show:

  • Deadly Hot Air Balloon Crash
  • Good Samaritan Rescues Girl from Car in Canal
  • Nine Things You Need to Know About Health Insurance
  • Is Your Partner Making You Fat?

We'll keep you posted if anything changes. Otherwise, see you in the morning.
