Donny is missing the point-nothing new!  Very Rachel Greenwald!  Lots of sizzle  and no steak.  What he is proposing seems very basic (have a goal or a personal mission statement- how many dating books say that!) and lacks depth.  My approach, the Get It Right This Time(TM) method prevents haphazard dating and going around in circles and wasting your time.  It's about getting clarity about what you need and want in a partner.  Also Donny is suggesting that you go to singles events every Sunday evening wouldn't work for a shy person.  He is not taking into account the person's personality.  He is trying to act like a coach- but missing key "coach-like" ingredients.  Also, it's important to get clear about your life goals before you can set a personal mission statement.  As a life coach, I work to create a personal mission statement based up a person's core values.  It's how you run the race- not running for the sake of running the race.  Dating is like a marathon -- it takes planning, strategy, focus and getting your head in the right place to succeed- also you need to know what works for you and what doesn't.
