Tomorrow on TODAY: What's Coming Up on Weekend TODAY

Posted: Friday, July 27, 2007 8:09 PM by Dana Haller

Here's what we're planning for this weekend:

Cheney's Battery Change
Last weekend it was President Bush going under for his health. This weekend it's Vice President Cheney. The VP is having a replacement battery put into his pacemaker tomorrow. John Yang will have a report for us in the morning.

Drunk in Space
Today NASA released a report from an independent panel that contained allegations that astronauts drank before missions. Tomorrow we will have more details on NASA's response in a report from Don Teague.

Big Day in Cycling
Sunday brings the end of the 104th Tour de France. Stephanie Gosk will tell us who won the coveted yellow jersey in this year's scandal-ridden tour.

Is Friday the New Saturday?
Could it be true? Is Friday the new Saturday for the work week? Well, we know it's not for the Weekend Today staff! On Sunday, we'll bring you the story about companies who are starting the weekend a little earlier for their employees.

Other Stories Planned for the Weekend:

  • Sat: Latest Stock Market News
  • Sat: What is Mobile Dating
  • Sun: Man Bags: What's in Style?

We'll keep you posted if anything changes. Otherwise, see you in the morning.
