One more chance to give it your best guess. Tell us where you think Matt will be on the last day of his trip.

If you think you know the country, use your cell phone to text the answer to 46833. Watch the show tomorrow. Matt just may return your call from tomorrow's location.

Note: Standard text messaging rates apply.

Here's the clue for tomorrow:
"To the West, it is 10 degrees colder. To the East, there is warmth in the air. To the North, there's a seat at the table. To the South, there's a formal affair."

Antartica
I think he is going to Eygpt because of the diplomatic talks going on.
My guess: Matt's going to Jamestown, VA!!! To the West (refering to Seattle) it is 10 degrees cooler. To the East (refering to Dubai) there is warmth in the air. To the North (the Today show in NYC) theres a seat at the table. To the South (the Queens visit) there's a formal affair. -Christina
I think Matt will be in South Africa on Friday. Probably Cape Town as I think the seat at the table is Table Mountain, prominent landmark overlooking the city. The formal affair could be Prince Edward Islands. Hope you get some rest when you return home, don't forget my gift. I liked the earrings that Meridith received today.
Capetown, South Africa; absolutely! -- Table Mountain; PENGUINS (formal)@ Cape of Good Hope. Visit with Mandela? Great wines.
Matt will be in Cape Town, South Africa. He will be reporting from the Cape of Good Hope (where the cold waters of the Atlantic from the west meet the warm waters of the Indian ocean from the east) with Table Mountain to the North and penguins kicking it to the south.
Jamestown, VA
I think its Singapore for Matt because all the clues are very formal and just like that part of the world for a final stopover.
I think he'll be in Argentina, Tierra del Fuego.
Bouvet Island (Norway). Table Mountain in South Africa is North, Antartica's penguins are south. It is the most remote island in the world.
Matt will be in Jamestown,VA for the Kentucky Derby festivities and Queen Elizabeth's Visit.
to the north is table mountain to the south there is the south pole to the west there is the current with winds from the south pole making it 10 degrees cooler to the east there is current from the indian ocean.
"Where in the world"? This should be called What in the world"! What in the world are you thinking? With Americans trying to cut back on the use of oil products your jetting all over the world. Shame on you. When are large corporations going to stop contributing to the problem and start being responsible?
I think Matt will be in South Africa tomorrow, Table Mountain or Tafelberg was the clue for me.
Switzerland
it's gotta be cape town, south africa best city in the world for every body's need's! and this is coming from a southafrican!
Cape Town, South Africa
Matts going to Jamestown VA for the formal with the Queen!
JAPAN. West is cold North Korea and Mongolia, East is the warm Kuroshio, or Japan, Current, and South, in Beijing, will be the 2008 Summer Olympics. Admittedly, I can't place a "table" in the North, unless some negotiations are taking place in Siberia, or perhaps the "tabletop" of some volconoes on the Kamchatka Peninsula?
Capetown, South Africa. I thnk CC and KM nailed the reasoning. I agree.
Cape Town, South Africa
He is definitely going to the top of Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh, Scotland. To the west is the Firth of Forth (water) so it is colder, to the north is the table, to the east is the city which is dramatically warmer than the top of the crag, and to the south is the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the residence of the Queen when she is in Scotland.
Cape Town! There actually are penguins on the African continent. Plus the ocean water differences and table mountian...
Who cares here he will be but i'm sure hewill have a good time
Cape Town, South Africa b/c of the Atlantic waters being cooler than the Indian ocean, but both border Cape Town. Table Mtn is the "seat at the table" and the penguins along the Cape of Good Hope are the "formal affair".
I like Christina's answer!
He'll be here to meet the Queen!!!
I think Antartica.
I think B Gamble is right above when he said Bouvet Island (Norway), which is south of Africa. But I don't think seat at the table means table mountain. colder to the West: the cold Benguela current, which sweeps northward along the Atlantic Ocean in the west. To the East: The Indian Ocean's warm Agulhas ocean current, sweeps southward along the African coastline in the east. Seat at the Table to the North: For the first time ever, in 2007/2008, South Africa has a seat at the UN Security Council. And the obious one to the South: Penguins.
I think Matt will be in Monaco on the fifth day
Laos. To the west is Myanmar (formerly Burma). 10 degrees colder would make you say "Brrr." To the east is Vietnam where relations are thawing. To the north is China - both a country and a table setting. To the south is Thailand (get it Tie-land).
Dubrovnik, Croatia
We feel Matt is going to be in Capetown, South Africa on Friday 5/4. The descriptions of the previous peoples comments seem to fit: the Table Mountains to the north, the penguins or Prince Edward Islands to the south, and the ocean currents to the east and west.
Argentina!!!
Does it matter? Matt's enough eye-candy to make the dreariest destination look great!!
I think Matt is going to Argentina. Maybe Mar de Plata. It's in the southern part of South America. Has the warm beaches to the east & penguins to the south.
I think South Africa because: West - The Indian Ocean is the warmest ocean. East - The Atlantic to the east is cooler and the cooler winds from the west. North. The seat at the table is Sec. Rice at the regional talks in Cairo. South - the formal atire (tuxedo-like) plummage of the penquins, as well as Prince Edward Island.
I'll bet it's the Azores, either Horta on Faial or Punta de Gada on Sao Miguel.
capetown, south africa
Cape Town, South Africa.
Australia!
My guess is Caracas,Venezuela!
My second guess is Mexico, City!
Although my first thought was Argentina (maybe Buenos Aires), I have to agree with Catherine from Atlanta, GA. Cape Town, South Africa sounds like the exact location. Her description was perfect.
I agree with Christina from Richmond. As a fellow Richmonder, I think Matt will come to Richmond, VA or Jamestown tomorrow since the Queen of England will be here.
Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. Just a guess.
Capetown, South Africa ...for sure!
South Africa
South Pole I guess the formal affair refers to tuxedos (penguins- which are from the South Pole )
North has to be new York (home for Matt), South, as Al said, has to be penguins, West would be the ocean and East would be inland. I'm thinking Peru? Possibly some where like Machu Picchu? Indeed it would be a fascinating place to explore!
