Hey Matt, been watching you do this gig since you started (thanks for getting the original music out!!!)and went and bought a T-shirt today as Hospice of Palm Beach County helped my Dad too at the end! Great cause and it's local!
I think Matt will be hosting Day 4 from Valencia, Spain - host of the 32nd America's Cup
I think Matt is going to South Africa
As a person who is concerned about environment and pollution, don't you think that travelling around the world on a private jet and wasting fuel and polluting the air is not a good example when you are showing segments about "green" solutions. How much jet fuel do you use to have Matt flying around the world and how much pollution does that create. How about next time you do Matt going around the US on a Prius or use Amtrak or Greyhound Bus. There are fascinating places on our own soil that I am sure Americans would love to see and visit and you would be saving on fuel and pollution. I dare you to share this comment on your show! Don't be hypocrites and promote "green" when you are being wasteful.
Beijing, China where the Olympics will be.
I think Matt is going to Lake Toyo, Hokkido, Japan. Its mildly mountainous & the next G8 conference was announced to be held there next summer
I love this part of the Today show and I love watching Matt Lauer. I too want to travel the world and he shows destinations that one may not think of traveling to. He opens the world to those people who are not able to travel or don't have the means to. I have never heard of Bhutan, but now it is a place that I would love to experience. Thanks Matt...keep it up the good work!!
I think that Matt is going to Dubai, United Arab Emarites. The Al Burg Hotel is shaped like a giant sail, The worlds tallest building is being built in Dubai. They are building a series of islands in the shape of the world and all the continents at Al Jurmeiah.
Tomorrow 5/4/07...Matt's going to Beijing, China... Host of the next America's Cup.
