Welcome to the first installment of what will become a weekly feature on TODAY's new blog, allDAY … Al Roker’s VLOG! Every week, Al will take you into his own world.

In his debut blog, Al introduces himself, TODAY's new Web site, and his vlog. You’ll see him take you in the green room, catch some camera guys sleeping on the job, surprise Meredith, and wave a baguette in the air like a scene from "Star Wars." I watch the Today show at least 1 hours worth every day...can't any more than that due to work, but it is refreshing to see you all in the morning. One question, do you really read all the comments??? Surely not!!!
